Nach über 50 Tagen in der Gefangenschaft der Hamas-Terroristen wurde Liat Atzili Beinin, Tour-Guide und Holocaust-Pädagogin von Yad Vashem, freigelassen. Gemeinsam mit unseren Kolleginnen und Kollegen in Yad Vashem hoffen wir, dass alle übrigen Geiseln, darunter Liats Ehemann Aviv Atzili und Yad Vashem-Kollege Alex Dancyg schnell und sicher zurückkehren werden.
Der Vorsitzende von Yad Vashem, Dani Dayan, zur Freilassung von Liat Atzili Beinin:
"It is crucial to remember that, while we celebrate Liat's release together with the other hostages, her husband, along with more than 100 men, women and children who remain in captivity in Gaza. We call upon all persons of conscience around the world, especially leaders, to persist in their efforts to secure the immediate release of Alex Dancyg, and all the other hostages being held in Gaza. We hope for their well-being and their prompt reunion with their loved ones."
